Kelvin Balmont

Kelvin Balmont | Tactics

is a senior associate at law firm Clarke Willmott, where he has worked for
the past six years advising companies, institutions and individuals in a number of sectors on commercial law. Kelvin was previously with another large national law firm and has worked for more than 10 years advising companies and other institutions on their commercial agreements, arrangements and transactions. Kelvin has recently written a number of articles on the effects of global events on force majeure provisions.

 

Tim Richardson

was appointed head of procurement in February 2009 and is responsible for all British Airways’ group purchased goods and services, with an external spend of over £5 billion annually. Tim was previously general manager of procurement operations where he ran the procurement service centre responsible for the airline’s worldwide requisition-to-payment processing. Prior to that he led the transformation programme that introduced strategic sourcing and e-procurement into British Airways.

is a member of the retail and consumer goods practice at executive search company Spencer Stuart. In addition to recruiting chief executives and board directors for leading international clients in the retail and consumer goods sectors, she leads procurement and supply chain searches for the firm globally. She has worked in executive recruitment for 15 years following an early career in procurement and supply chain management. She holds an MBA from Henley Management School.

Joris Bonants
Joris Bonants • Supply chain finance
is a supply planner with Philips Lighting, where he is currently responsible for planning the physical chain of a competitive product portfolio in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Within the healthcare division of Royal Dutch Philips, he started a project that uncovered the success factors to negotiating payment terms with suppliers in tough economic times by using a tool called supply chain finance. He graduated in 2009 from the RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam with a Masters degree in supply chain management.
